Passport to Success
During the programme, participants will improve leadership, teamwork, acute listening skills and task management.
Each participant is required to take an active part in practical indoor and outdoor exercises involving: Breathing, Centring, Balancing Intellect with Emotion, Acute Listening Skills, Consensus Building, Influencing Techniques, Problem Solving, Delegation, Leadership, Team Working, Questioning, Clarity, Anxiety Management. Assertiveness, Project Management. Looking at the "Hows?" and not the "Whats?"
Day 1

Day 2

Day 5
(Friday) Dress: office wear (suits) 09.00 Putting it into Practice - Meetings around a Table Body Language and positioning - How to interrupt - Use of materials - Notes, Flipcharts, Power Points, Overhead Projectors, etc. - A Consensus meeting exercise using CCTV - Exercising spontaneity - 1 minute Presentations with CCTV - Group Reviews, Feedback and plans of action
General
Numbers: To obtain the optimum benefit for each participant and for the group dynamics, the course is designed for a maximum of ten participants and a minimum of eight. Personal feedback is given to each participant during the exercises. *Dress: During the programme individuals will be required to bring smart casual dress and business suits. During the outdoor exercises delegates will need suitable clothing that will maintain personal levels of comfort; a list of recommended detailed listings of clothing will be supplied prior to the commencement of the programme. Waterproof jackets and trousers will be supplied. Arrival
time: The course starts on Sunday evening and ends at 17.30 on Friday. Additional evening one-to-one meetings: Individual private sessions are available with the tutors during the evening periods of the course. These are available for participants who wish to cover their own specific issues and individual needs. 2-Day follow up after a few weeks: The two-day follow-up is very important. Using the CCTV and other techniques, we side coach the delegates' actual situations, problems, difficult meetings, presentations, etc, that they are experiencing in their own working environments. We help them to use the 'tools' they have learnt to overcome and surmount the problems they may be experiencing. Venue: to be agreed with the client company.
